Dear praying friends, we thank you for your prayers for us. I (Luke) wanted to give you a brief report of our ministry trip to help and encourage Peter, our missionary friend who is ministering among the mostly unreached Wataturu tribe.
I left with 3 young men from our church: Taji, Faraja and Michael. We left on Wednesday Nov. 25, 2020 and returned on Monday Nov. 30, 2020. The trip took 12.5 hours by car on mostly good roads. While there we were able to witness door to door and show gospel films for 4 nights; we had 2 special meetings and a normal Sunday service. We got to see the different places firsthand and meet the people Peter had talked about. We were able to evangelize, teach, preach and also encourage Peter and the small flock that has made a profession to follow Jesus Christ.

I am reminded of Paul's words in Rom. 15:20-21 "And thus I aspired to preach the gospel, not where Christ was already named, so that I would not build on another man's foundation; but as it is written, 'They who had no news of Him shall see and they who have not heard shall understand.' " Truly we were in a place where Christ has not been named and we were building on no other man's foundation. There is still so much to be done and so much that they must learn, but the workers are few.

Pray that God will send more workers into this harvest field. Please pray that God would protect the little flock while Peter is away, and that they would meet together to pray and encourage each other, even if they can't yet teach each other. Peter plans to return in Feb. 2021, Lord willing, but he continues almost daily to call them by phone to see how they are doing.
Thank you for your prayers,
In Christ,
Luke Johnson
